The Vision
Addiction is real. Alcohol. Meth. Marijuana. Heroin. Fentanyl. Opioids. It doesn't matter the substance, addiction destroys lives, families, and futures. And sadly, our current system often trades one addiction for another, offering Suboxone, methadone, Valium, or Xanax as the only answers. But these too can become chains.

I remember being lost in the middle of my addiction, sitting in front of a computer, desperate for help, but not knowing where to turn. Everything I found cost thousands of dollars. I remember sitting in a church parking lot just needing someone to see me. Someone to care. Addiction doesn't just affect "those people". It touches every corner of our society. It could be your neighbor. It could be your coworker. It could be your own child.

A few years ago, God gave me a vision: The NOW Place - a place to go right now when someone is in crisis. Not tomorrow. Not next week. NOW! Because an hour from now could be too late. It's a place of safety, love, and freedom - not a place of judgement or more prescriptions.

Since then, we have been walking this vision out through Chain Breakin' Recovery, a weekly ministry where we share our stories, break the stigma of addiction, and boldly testify that freedom is possible through the blood of Jesus Christ.
